Confidence

Confidence comes from doing things. It sounds simplistic, but it's really important. To gain confidence in something, you first have to try it. Trying something new takes courage, because you're likely not to be all that good at whatever you're trying the first time. Have the courage to try something new; keep working at it even though it will be rough the first few times through; do it again and again until it becomes routine. Then you'll have the confidence to accomplish what you need to when it matters the most.

It it is really inmporatant to have confidence because without it you would not succeed as much as you would with confidence. In every tennis match that I play in I try to have confidence, but when you are losing 6-0 5-2 or something like that it is hard to reagin your confidence.

It is very important in soccer as well as all sports. In soccer, if you give up a goal just before half time, your confidence is lowered a lot and you tend to have a bad second half. It is also momentum which has to do with confidence.
