I think the thing that would evoke the strongest emotion was the image of Brock Mealer working hard to continue walking. The strain and anguish on his face told people that he was not going to give up. It said that even though he was told he would never walk again, he knew that he would. The scenes right before the game fulfilled that knowledge. He was walking. He was going slowly, he had two canes, but he was walking. That was showing people that you can accomplish anything if you try hard enough.

1)I think to me was when he lead the Michigan football team out of the tunnel and hit the banner.
2) To show how hard he worked, and if you put your mind to something, and so do other people, you can do it. Impossible is nothing.

This video was all around emotional for me because it told the story of how he crashed. In the crash his dad died along with his brother’s girlfriend. It was really sad to watch. Another spot was where Mealer was walking around the football field with his coaches and they were yelling at him and encouraging him. At that spot I was really happy for him because he was walking. The scenes right before the game tells people who are watching to know that it is really important to him that he is going to walk in front of millions of people to show them that you can accomplish anything if you really set your mind to it.
The scene that evokes the most emotion for me is when he is strapped into a harness and you see him sweating as he works to stand up. It's hard for me to see something like that happen to a twenty year old. The scenes right before the game show how nervous he is and how he is not sure if he can do it.

The scene that evoked the strongest emotion was reading that his dad and his brother's girlfriend were killed in the crash.Seeing him walk out on the field after 2 years of training and being told that he would never be able to walk again.Watching him put on the climbing harness and be suspended from the ceiling was amazing. It showed all the hard work he went through.

In my opinion, the scene where Brock is training on the field, evoked the most emotion for me. The look on Brock's face showed his fierce determination. The scenes before the game showed that Brock will never give up on any challenge no matter how tough it gets.

What I think the scene that evoked the strongest emotion for me is, when I saw him working and working to walk. He was so determined to walk again. The scenes right before the game fulfilled that he could walk. He showed the surgeon that didn't think he could walk again but he did. He showed everyone that didn't believe he could walk again, and he showed it. I think it is pretty awesome.

The scenes that evoked the strongest emotion for me was when they sowed the Mealer family's car after the crash. I felt so sad. They also said that Brock's father and Elliot's girlfriend died in the crash and I almost crired. Another scene was when Brock walked across the field and touched the banner because he was walking pretty fast for someone that had a 1% chance of ever walking again. The purpose that the scenes before the game fulfill the way that Brock is feeling before walking across the field. This video was very strongly evoked my emotions.

i belive that the evoke for brock mealer was for him to lose his walking obilite and have all the stress of trying to walk and get the ambishon to push him self to the limmit and try to get his obilite to walk.

I think that brock mealer took advantage of what the docter said because the docter told him the he would never be able to walk again. he said to never to give up so he could walk again because he really wanted to be on the Michigan football team.
the scenes that was strongest evoke was when he walk acorres the field and when he was tald that he can't walk but he is trying to get his legs stronger

I think the sad it was sad when the video was talking about the car accident when his father and the girl was killed...that mist've been a terrifying experince for brock to just see them dead in the car with him. I also it was evoke to just tell him that he couldn't walk anymore when he belived he did. the doctor didn't belive that he could walk because the doctor probaly thought that his legs were paralized for good. Then Brock started taking steps by steps brock probaly fell a couple times, but that usally helps him learn that he just can't give up by falling, he has keeps trying and trying. Mabey other people told him he couldn't walk so theres no use into trying, but he didn't listento them. He was porbaly glad he didn't listen to them because now he could walk. when he first went to the stadium and the people who were there were probaly amazed to see a man who's doctor told him he could never walk again, and now he's walking. It must be hard for Brock to take a step since his legs are paralized... but he is willing to not give up to go through all that trouble just to prove that even though his legs are paralized doesn't mean he can't walk again.
-Jasmine Martinez Period 1
Well the first thing I want to say is wow. To see Brock Mealer walk like that is amazing! The scene that evoked my emotion was, when he was practicing walking with the two coaches on the football field. The scene that fulfilled was when they were talking about how he had a 1% chance that he would never walk again, but no he instead he said no that’s not true I will walk again, and from that day forward he worked affluently to walk again and to watch this video and see that he is walking just makes me want to cry because, he had a broken back and to see him walk again that’s not something you see every day that is what that scene was about .

The scene that envoked the strongest emotion to me was when Brock Mealer started to walk. He was on canes. From the look on his face, people could tell that he was making his way through the pain and worked with all his might to try and walk. The doctors told him he only had 1% chance to walk again. This did not stop Brock. He simply dismissed that thought and worked hard. I think the scenes right before the game was to prove to us that as long as we try hard enough, anything can happen, even if there is only 1% chance of it coming true.
Michelle Zhang Period 2
I think the scenes that really evoke emotion for me, were the scenes where we learned in detail what had happened, and how his brothers girlfriend, and his father had passed away because of this. I think those scans made me definitely think about how we do really take things for granted and at any time some 90 year old man could do the same thing to us. I think that if a doctor came up to me and said that I would never be able to walk again I would be extremely mad, but instead this man corrected the doctor and then proved them wrong. I also think that the scenes before the big game showed people waist down who can jump around and can run, and do stretches, and exercise, with little to no effort. It shows the dance crew jumping from one foot to the next, which may happen in future years, but I doubt Brock can do that now. It also shows the football team doing different running drills, which also may be possible in years to come, but he will have to work extremely hard for it. Unlike everyone else, Brock has to think about walking, and work hard for it which is what those scenes were supposed to show.

I think the thing that evoked the strongest emotion in me was seeing how he got hurt he did nothing wrong but another car was going to fast and they hit. I think the scenes right before the game might make people think how lucky they are and help the players to know that no madder what things will still be ok.
Carmen Booan
I think the thing that would evoke the strongest emotion was him walk with one cane and him also walking with no cane in the thing were it had two bars next to him. The scenes right before the game fulfilled that he was walking even thow he had two cane he was walking.

I think that the two scenes that evoked the strongest emotion for me was when Brock found out that his dad and girlfriend were dead. The other was when he reached up and touched the Michigan flag, and by doing that he showed people who are like him that anything is possible. I think that these scene fulfill the process that Brock went through to get his life back after the car accident on Christmas Eve had taken it away from him.
Maddy Happy Kramer Period 3
The scene the evokes the most emotion is when he is practiceing in the gym you could see the diterimation on his face. Another scene is when he was walking up to the banner then tuched it because he was walking pretty fast for someone that was told they only gad a 1% chance of every walking again. Right before he walkes across the field there is a scene that shows Brock getting ready and I think he is thinking about all the things he had to go through.
Maya W. Per. 3
The scenes that evoked the strongest emotions for me was when they showed the car smashed up and when it said that his dad and his brother's girl friend died. The scenes right before the game fulfill how everybody on that field was walking or running and did not think about it but Brock had to think about it and tried very hard. If you try hard enough you can accomplish anything.
Travis T. Period 2
The scenes that evoked strong emotions to me was the part when Brock, his mother and brother walk and Brock touches the banner. That scene evoke that strong emotions because he has worked for month after month to just take a few steps. when we don't have to think about walking. The purpose of the scenes from right before the game fulfill is to show that many people can walk, run, and control their legs very easily but Brock can't. Brock was paralized from the waist downand was told that he would never walk again. But unlike what most people would do is Brock didn't give up. He had the challege to walk again and he did. He showed many people at that stadium that day that if you want to something and work hard at it you will succeed

I think that the part that evoked the most emotion for me was the part when he was working hard trying to walk agian. It was a very powerful and very inspiering part for everyone. It showed that the impossible is possible and that anything can happen. The purpose of the scenes right before the game show you of all the feet it makes contrast showing you how easy it is for everyone else but then it show Brock preparing for just getting up and standing. It shows how hard he needs to work to get out of the wheel chair.

I think that the two scenes that evoked the strogest emotion was when they showed the time where he led the football team onto the field and touched the banner. The purpose of the scenes was to show that Brock could acomplish anything, and to show that your dreams can always come true.

For me, the scenes that evoked the strongest emotion were the scenes that showed Brock Mealer walking across the field to touch the flag. It shows that you can do anything. The scenes right before the game showed him trying his hardest to walk. Even though it was hard, he kept on trying.

One of the scenes that evoked the most emotion for me would be when Brock was telling about the car accident he was in. Along with that scene it was very sad when he was explaining how the volunteer rescuer asked him if his dad was still breathing. The other scene that evoked strong emotion was when Brock was waiting to go walk across the football feild and touch that banner. He looked very nervous before hand. It was great to see the happy look on his face right after he touched the banner.

I think the thing that evoked my emotions was when i saw the car and the the caption say the brock's dad had died. When brock talked about him you could almost see a flashback of what that night must've been like. This video and also the other video is so inspiring! He shows that you can do anything if you work hard and never give up. The scenes before he walked were to show his hardship and give a little back-ground about what happened to him and his family. He is an amazing acheiver. And what he did in life should be remembered forever.

The scenes that evoked the strongest emotions for were the scenes in which he was training. These almost made me tear up. Watching someone try to do something that I do every day is just heartbreaking. The situation he is in is a tough one. His father died and his brother’s girl friend. He must have a lot of grief driving that car. I think when he walked out on that field he was fulfilled. He probably was thinking to himself the whole time I’m doing it I’m walking. I teared up when I saw this it was just such a happy moment. Good for you Brock. Keep on walkin.

The scenes the evoked the strongest emotions for me were the scenes where they showed the caption that said Brock's dad and his brother Elliot's girlfriend were killed in the accident and the scene where Brock said whenever he accomplishes something like walking with the canes, he wants to tell his dad but he can't. The scenes before the game fulfilled success and hard work. It also show the fact that if you put your mind to something, you can do it. Even if you have a 1% chance of ever doing it again.

The senes that evoked the strongest emotions for me is inspiration, and admiration of BRock. The sense where Brock is training and his coaches are tough, but they are also encouraging. Another sense that evoked really strong emotions was the sense of brock walking across the football field and reaching up and grapping the flag. Brock worked so hard so he could walk and he did it and it didn't take him a long time to do it. HE was walking fast. I think the senes purpose from right before the game is to show that Brock was really nervous to go out there with thousands of people watching him and cheering for him, to walk.

The scene that evoked the most emotion for me was the scene of Brock Mealer with his dad. This was the most emotional because Brock was telling us how hard he was working because he knew his dad had worked really hard to support his family. I think the purpose of the scenes right before the game showed how nervous Brock was because this was what he had worked so hard to achieve. I also thought these scenes showed how supportive everyone was of him. This video made the Mealer's situation seem very real to me.

I know that when most people watched the video they probably evoked sad emotions, I did too. Even though I saw the sad things that happened to Brock, I tried to look past them. I felt inspired because Brock made me feel as if I could do anything if I put my mind to it. It was very exciting to see all the things he went through and have him believe he is the luckiest man in the world. He probably wouldn’t be the luckiest if he didn’t go after something he wanted; to walk. The scenes of Brock right before the game showed him mentally preparing for the moment that he would have to show the world he could walk again. I would think Brock was extremely nervous, not wanting to mess up in front of everyone. Brock is an amazing person who should be a role model to everyone.

Wow! That was a very emotional video clip. The part that evoked the most emotion for me was the part that said that Brock’s dad died in the crash. This was very emotional for me because I had no idea that Brock’s dad had died. If that had been me I probably wouldn’t have even bothered to try to walk. If my father had died I would have wanted to just curl up in a whole and die, I wouldn’t even think about walking again. I think that purpose of the clips before Brock walked across the football field was to show all the fancy footwork that Brock can’t do and may never do.

I think the scenes that envoke the most emotion were the scenes of Brock practicing to walk inside the turf practice field. The scene that evoked me is that Brock Mealer walked across the football feild. The scenenes beforw the game showed Brock Mealer practicing walking for the game. I think Brock Mealer is brave and confident because he walked even though the doctors told him he couldn't
Molly M period 5
In this clip there were many scenes that provoked emotions for me. Some of them were when Brock said he remembered praying that he would ever be able to walk again. This is because It seems awful that anyone would ever have to work so hard just to walk again. When Brock was walking across the field in front of a huge audience you could just see how hard he was concentrating and working. You could see how much this meant to him to make it all the way to the banner. It also provoked emotion for me to too see how happy he was when he finally touched the banner at the end of the field. After two years of work this was his major accomplishment and he had finally done it. The scenes right before the game showed the audience what had happened to him and how he had worked over this huge challenge.
Alex G. period 2
The secnes that evoke emotion in me was when it talked about Brock's dad and Elliott's girlfriend died in the car. I think the pupose of the scenes that it shows how easliy people use their legs without even thinking about it. While Brock has to think really hard and it takes so much effert to walk. It shows that we somtimes take our legs of granded.
Ciara M. 5
I think the scene that evoked the strongest emotion in me was the scene that depicted and described what happened to Brock that Christmas Eve. Seeing him talk about it was incredibly touching and inspiring. Also, when the pictures were shown of the car after the accident and when we were told about what happened, it made the whole thing a little more real for me. I realized that people died and that this actually happened. It really made my heart go out to Brock and his family when I saw him talking about the accident. He seemed so calm, but really it must eat at him every day because it is impossible for him to forget because of his injury. I think the pre-game scenes had many purposes. I think one of them was to show many people being highly active, something Brock can not be. I think the camera then played Brock to show how nerve racking this was for him. I think it also portrayed the fact that so many people were supporting him. It showed that even though they had hardly known him, they knew he was overcoming something said to be impossible. I think Brock really embodied the Adidas slogan; Impossible is Nothing. Brock has really done something amazing here and I think he should be very proud of himself.

I think the scene that evoked the strongest emotion was when Brock was working really hard and you could tell that he was in pain, he kept pushing himself because of his dad. Even though his dad couldn't stand next to him to see him walk,Brock kept in trying and he made it. The purpose that the scenes right before the game fulfill, that he was going to walk. The long, hard times he pushed through to walk again. Brock defeated the odds. Those scenes showed that you can do anything if you try hard enough and don't give up.

The scenes that evoked the strongest emotions for me was when Brock was on the training field and had his trainer keep on encouraging him to keep going and keep trying to walk again. The scene that evokes the most emotions was when Brock was talking about the crash. It must have been hard to talt about it, because remembering bad memories must have hurt him on the inside. I think showing all the feet moving and having it be so easy for those people really points out that Brock can't do that and it makes people appreciate how hard he has worked.
I think the thing that evoked the strongest emotion from me was seeing Brock Mealer's face when he was pushing as hard as he could. It showed me that he really wants to walk again.. I mean REALLY want to. The scenes from right before the game show that he was nervous and it looked like he was questioning if he could walk across a field with 115,000 people watching and cheering him on. He had to believe that walking was possible and he did!

I. I think the part that evoked me the most was when Brock started walking to touch the banner, he had been told that he could never walk again. That just shows you that if you try, and try again sooner or later you will succeeded. He was very unfortunate and unlucky. But he will always be part of Michigan.
II. The way Brock tried to get to the field it was amazing, sad but amazing. I love it when Mr. Abts puts videos and documents about Brock. I love learning about him. But still it was a tragic accident he still tried and succeeded!

The scenes that evoked the strongest emotions for me was when Brock was working very hard to walk again. You could tell he had the determination to walk again because of the emotions on his face, and the fact that he never gave up. Another scene that evoked my emotions was when he was walking out on the football field with his family next to him, and when he touched the Michigan banner. That must have meant a lot to him and his family, because he spent a lot of effort working very hard on walking, and achieved it! The purpose of the scenes right before game fulfilled that everyone was proud of Brock, and that it meant a lot for him to be doing this. Since he was injured waist down, there was a lot of feet action of the video. It showed a person stretching their leg before the game, the marching bands' feet moving fast, and last but not least the football players' legs in motion, getting ready to start a play. Brock was a great man, and he set a great example that anything is possible if you work at it.

I think that the scene that evokes the most powerful emotions is the scene wher Brock tells the story of the crash he got into. It was an extremely sad scene because it says that Brock's father and Brock's brother's girlfriend Hollis died in the accident. You can actually see the saddness in Brock's eyes when he talks about his sad story. I think Brock's main inspiration to walk again is his father. The scene before the game and the scene where Brock is struggling to practice walking also evoked alot of strong emotions. I think that the porpose of the scene before the game is to show that work pays off and that nothing is impossible as long as you try. It shows that miracles are possible and that even the smallest chace of something happening might actually make the thing happen. This scene was very inspirational.
