Who is Anthony Robles? What accomplishment did he recently add to his list of achievements? Whom did he defeat in the finals?
There are some who would say that Anthony was able to turn his disadvantage into an advantage. What possible advantage did he gain?
Finally, do you believe that it took more physical strength or emotional strength to accomplish what he did? Why do you believe this?

Anthony Robles was born with only one leg and didn't want to get a fake leg he refused. He set a record at his school for push-ups, he wrestled and won two Arizona State wrestling championships he went 46-0. He ended his High school career with 129-15. In the Finals he beat Jason Lara. He gained the advantage to never give up and always keep trying. I think it took more emotional strength. I think this because he had to believe in himself. He had to know that he could accomplish this.

Anthony Robles is a college wrestler born without a right leg. He recently won the NCAA wrestling title in the 125 pound division. He defeated Matt McDonough. Anthony gained an advantage because he has upper body strength from walking with crutches. He also forces opponents to the ground where he can win much easier. I think what he did took more emotional strength because if he did not believe he could win he wouldn't be able to. People also probably were expecting him to lose.

Anthony Robles is a one-legged wrestler from Arizona State University. He recently went to finals and won. He gained a lot of confidence doing this. He beat Jason Lara in the finals. He is now a champion in the 125lbs weight class. His disadvantage is that he only has one leg, but this made him weigh less which put him in a lower weight class. Anthony’s upper body is of a 180lb wrestler. This was his advantage. His upper body was much stronger than all of the people that he wrestled so this helped him win a lot of matches. I think that this took more physical strength because he had to work really hard to get all of the muscle that he has. Also hopping around on leg for a while sure gets tiring after a while.

Anthony Robles was born with the phisical disatvantage of not haveing one of is legs. Although this did not stop him in participating in school sports as a teenager. He wrestled and won two arizonia state championships going 46-0. This year he deafeated Matt McDonough. Becuase he had to use crutches his uper body strength was outstanding. I think it would be harder to accomplish this goal mentally because to not be able to do many every day things and then being able to accomplish what he did.

Anthony Robles is a wrestler with only one leg who went to Mesa Arizona just won the 125lb weight class in his last match. He defeated Matt McDonough to win the championship. He gained many advantages only having one leg was advantage because some wrestlers are used to grabbing the right leg to do some moves on the mat. He does not have a right leg. Another advantage he has is that he can have stronger arms than everbody else in that weight class because he is missing a leg. It took more emotional strength than physical strengh because he choose to do wrestling. He did not have to.

Anthony Robles is a wrestler and was born with no right leg. What he added to his list of achievements was, he won the national championship. In the finals he defeated, defending national champion Matt McDonough. What advantages he gained was, a huge self boost in his confidence. What I thought it would take more physical strength. Why I think that is because, since he only has one leg, he had to work extra hard and build strength in only one leg to make up for the other.

Anthony Robies was only born with a left leg. He was a great high school wrestler and is now a great college wrestler. He just won the NCAA Championship title at 125lbs. To earn the title he easily defeated Matt McDonough. It is a disadvantage because he is not as mobile with 1 leg but there is a advantage he has more upper body strength and he is used to wrestling low like that and the other wrestler may not be used to that. I think that it took more emotional strength then physical strength because some people probably told him he is not capable of wrestling and he could think that he is not capable of it, but he did think he could do it which was truly inspiring.

Anthony Robles from birth had only one leg. The doctors asked if he wanted a prostectic leg and he said no. He is 5-8 and weighs 125 pounds. He broke his high school's push-up record. At the end of his high school wrestling career he was 129-15. He just won the NCAA wrestling title for the 125 lbs. division. In the finals he had to go up against Jason Lara. He gained the advantage to never give up to stay with it even if people question if you can do it. I think you would have to have more emotional strength. The reason why I think that is because other teams might make fun of you and think you can't beat them. You would need determination and a positive attitude to succeed even when no one else believes in you.

Anthony Robles was born ith only 1 leg. The doctorts tryed to give him a fake leg, but he said no i DONT need it I CAN GO WITHOUT it. He beat Matt Micdona. He has won Two Arizona State Wresaling Championships. In my book he is the most bravest person i have ever seen be sides Brc Melear. He is just like Broc because he also said NO just like Broc. They said broc would never walk again BUT NO! NO!!!!! he did walk and right now he is only on one cane,THAT TO ME IS AMAZING, Anthony is just like broc because he to said NO. That is why i think Anthony is Right up there next to Broc.

Anthony Robles was a wrestler. He was born with no right leg. He didn't want to get a fake leg. He set the record for the most push-ups at his school. He won two Arizona State Wrestling Championships. At this he went 46-0. That is realy good. Je ended his High school career with an amazing 129-15. In the finals he ended up beating Jason Lara. With one leg missing this gave Anthony the advantage of having pne less leg for the person he was wrestling to grab. I think that what he did took more emotional strength than physical strength because he had to tell himself he could win, or do well even though he was at somewhat of a disadvatage to his opponents.

College wrestling can be tough without a leg. Thats what Anthony Robles had to go through. When he was born he was born without a wright leg and yet managed to win two Arizona state championships. He must have been determined and never gave up even when the odds were against him. When you believe in yourself you can accomplish anything.

I think it took more emotional stregth because took overcome something as bug as not having a leg you have to believe in yourself.

Anthony Robles is a wrestler that was born with only one leg. He didn't want to have a fake leg as a replacement when that was an option for him. He said no to it. Even though Anthony didn't have one leg he set a record for push-ups at his school because of his amazing upper-body strength. He went to the Arizona State Wrestling Championships and won them two times. In the Champs he went 46-0. In his whole entire High-School career Anthony robles wrestled a 129-15. He accomplished all of this with only one leg. With only one leg I think Anthony Robles gained the advantage to learn how to never give up and keep trying as hard as he could. All in all think this took more emotional strength than it did physical strength. I think this because Anthony could have sat at home and not tried anything because he thought he couldn't do much with one leg, but he went out and started an amazing wrestling career for himself. Even though his leg stregth couldn't be amazing, he built up an enormous amount of upper-bpdy strength. He needed to believe in himslef to accomplish this.

Anthony Robles is a college wrestler born without his right leg. He recently won the NCAA wrestling tournament for Arizona State. In the finals he defeated Matt McDonough of Iowa. He gained upper body strength from using crutches his whole life. He also has the advantage because most moves wrestlers use are based on an opponent with two legs. I believe it took more emotional strength because people probably doubted him and he also had to believe in himself.
Anthony Robles is a one-legged wrestler at Arizona State. Anthony defeated defending National Champ #2. He defeated Matt Macdonough in the finals. The possible advantage that he gained was that his upper body is bigger than most at his weight class, and his opponets struggle a way which to go at him. I believe it took more emotional strength to accomplish what he did because he might have spectators that say rude and insulting things about him, and it might require emotional strength to work hard and not give up.

Anthony Robles is a one legged wrestler that plays for the Arizona State Sun Devils. He recently won the NCAA wrestling championship. In the finals he beat Matt McDonough who was the defending champ. The advantage he was able to gain was his grip got stronger because of holding on to his crutches. I think it took more physical strength because he took the year before to work on his mental game so he was prepared for that.
Carmen Booan
Anthony Robles is a student at Arizona State, and he is also a college wrestler. His most recent achievement was winning the title at the 2011 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. But there is one special thing about him that works to his advantage. Anthony Robles was born without a right leg, this means that because he don't have two legs his upper body strength is probably stronger than the average wrestler. Not having one leg might also work to his advantage because it makes him weigh less which puts him in a lower weight class (125-pound), even though Anthony’s upper body is of a 180-pound wrestler. I believe it took more emotional strength to accomplish what he did because most people would not have the hope and spirit to work so hard, with such a big disadvantage(at first).

Anthony Robles is a college wrestler at Arizona State University. He only has a right leg and hw wrestles in the 125 weight class. This year he defeated Matt McDonough. Anthony had the advantage of upper body strength because he has to use his arms more because of his disability. Anthony Robles is a wrestler from Arizona State university. Although he was born without a right leg he has achieved many incredible things that even a person with two legs would struggle with. Just recently he added a NCAA wrestling tittle with and a perfect season in the 125 pound division to his accomplishments. He defeated Matt McDonough from Iowa State University in the finals. Anthony was able to turn his disadvantage that he didn't have a right leg, into an advantage because he has the torso of a man much heavier than him. He doesn't weigh much because he doesn't have one leg but has a very strong upper body, so he is much stronger than many people in his weight class. I think winning his tittle took more emotional strength than physical strength because if most people were born without a leg, they wouldn't even consider wrestling. Anthony did and continued on even when he started wrestling and wasn't good and even when people pitied him for not having a leg, he kept wrestling. That type of perseverance takes incredible emotional strength.

Anthony Robles was born Mesa, Arizona without a right leg. When the doctors offered him a fake one he refused. Robles recently won NCAA wrestling title. He competed in the 125 pound division. Robles defeated Matt McDonough. His disadvantage was that he had only one leg. His advantage was that since he didn't have a right leg he weighed less so he could wrestle in a lighter division. Another way he was able to bet Matt McDonough was that he had great upper body strength from walking on crutches. He may of had the weight of 120 pounds but his upper body strength. was equivalent to a 180 pound wrestler. I think what he did took more emotional strength because he tried wrestling even though he had one leg. If he didn't start wrestling he would never gotten the title.

Anthony Robles is a wrestler at Arizona State, he was born with only one leg. He has one many awards in wrestling since he started in 9th grade, including a NCAA wrestling title. In the finals he went against Matt McDonough and won. I think his advantage is that he had to work harder than everyone else and that gave he a kind of thinking that if you work hard you can do anything. I think it took more emotional strength because everyone experiences physical pain but being different in this way can be harder then lifting any weight.

Anthony Robles is a young man that was born with one leg. His recent accomplishment was that he won the NCAA wrestling title in his weight class. The person that he beat was Matt McDonough. His upper body strength is a big help when he wrestles. His upperbody strength came from walking on crutches. I bilieve that it takes more emotional strength because I think that it takes a huge amount of confidence to go and wrestle when you have only one leg, also he is very brave to wrestle people that have an advantage when it comes to movement

Anthiny Robles was with only a left leg. He recently won the 125lb against Matt Mcdonald. He has been wresaling for nine years now. He gained an advantage because he had alot of upper-body strength from always getting around on cruches. One great thing about wrestling is you don't have to be the biggest guy or the tallest guy. It's really how much effort you put into it. On them I think it took him more emotional change because he hads to put his problems aside and nobody was positive that he might win.

Anthony Robles is a wrestler from Arizona State University. He won a NCAA title in the 125 pound division despite his physical disadvantage. Anthony was born with only one leg. He beat Matt McDonough in the finals of his division. Anthony had the advantage of having very good upper body strength because of his crutches. He has the upper body of an 180 pound man but because he had only one leg, he weighed less. I think it took just as much emotional strength as it did physical strength. Anthony Robles was a highschool wrestler with only one leg and refused to get a prostetic leg. His recent accomplishment was him winning a ncca wrestling match in the 125lb division. Anthony Robels defeated Jason Lara in the finals. The possible advantage he gained from turning his disadvantage into a advantage is to never give up and keep moving foward and dont let one problem hold your life back. I belive it took more emotinal strength to over come this because at times he must have had very serious doubts about himself, and he couldnt do nothing about it. But he must have over come that and moved on. This proves that you should alaways belive in your self because if you do, you can practly accomplish anything.
Anthony Robles is a wrestler from Arizona State.Anthony Robles was born without a right leg. Anthony won The championship. Anthony took down defending champion Matt McDonough. Anthony Robles is a wrestler, with a significant disability. He was born with out his right leg. Despite his disadvantage, he recently won the NCAA wrestling title in the 125 pound division. In finals, he defeated a wrestler named Matt McDonough. I think that he was able to turn his disadvantage into an advantage because he seems to have more upper body strength from being on crutches. I think that it took more emotional strength to accomplish this because he needed to believe that he could win despite his disability. He also needed self confidence and a will to win.

Anthony Robles looks just like you and me, and everyone else except he only has one leg. He is now a national champion wrestler at Arizona State. He defeated Matt McDonough at the finals. Anthony set a record at his school for push-ups. Anthony gained an advantage by his crutches. His crutches helped him recieve upper body strength. With the strength, he can knock down more people easily. I believe that it took more emotional strength to accomplish what he did because even if you have the physical strength, if your heart isn't in it, you can't win. To win, he probably had to believe in himself and prove to the people who thought he wouldn't do well because he had only one leg.

Anthony Robles is a college wrestler for the Arizona State Sun Devils. He was born with only one leg. He refused to wear a fake one. He did various exercises to strengthen his body. In high school he became one of the top wrestlers in the nation and he won the Arizona State Championship, twice. In college he was a two time All-American Wrestler. Anthony recently defeated Matt McDonough. He has an advantage I'd say because most wrestlers try to grab legs but he only has one. I think its takes more emotional strength because even though you do have to have some physical strength if you have no emotional strength you can't push yourself through getting strong and you need that to tell yourself you can do it.

Anthony Robles is a one-legged wrestler, from Arizona State. He recently added winning the wrestling finals to his list of achievements. He went 36-0 the whole season. The advantage he possibly earned was having so much upper-body strength. Anyone he competed against was not as strong as him. I think it may have taken him more emotional strength because he had to work around using one leg. Since he only wrestled people in his weight class, and he could bench-press 305 lbs, wrestling someone about the same weight would have been easy. If someone from another team was making fun of him for not missing a leg his feelings could have been hurt and he would need emotional strength.

Anthony Robles was a very brave man but was sadly only born with one leg. Many people had asked if he had wanted another leg but he had said no. He was a wrestler, and he set a high school record for push-ups, with only one leg. He had also accomplished winning the championships in wrestling and had defeated a national champion Matt McDonough. The advantages he had gained through this life experience was being self confident, brave, and he never gave up the whole time. I think that it took more emotional strength than physical strength because it would take a lot of hard work and believing in yourself to accomplish something this hard. I believe this because if this happened to me I would try my hardest, but I would have to have a lot of faith in myself to accomplish this. He had many goals and he knew he could do anything if he too just believed in himself.

He defeated Matt McDonough of Iowa in the finals. Even though Anthony had a disadvantage, he was able to turn the disadvantage into an advantage. His advantage was that he would wrestle smaller guys because he weighed less due to the fact that he had only one leg. I think that it took more emotional strength than physical strength to accomplish what he did. I think this because it takes a lot of courage to get on the mat and wrestle someone when you have a major disadvantage. You might just want to give up, but he didn`t. He kept pushing through no matter how hard things became. This shows true courage.

Anthony Robles, is a college student at Arizona State University. Anthony has recently won the NCAA National Wrestling Title in the 125 pound weight class. In the finals of the tourney he faced reigning national champion, Matt McDonough. As a young man Anthony was offered surgery to insert a prosthetic right leg. Anthony turned down the surgery. I think this shows tremendous character on behalf of Anthony. Although that some may view Anthony's leg as a dissorder Anthony might have used this to his advantage while wrestling. Opponents of Anthony might underestimate him, or feel sorry for him while on the contrary, Anthony probably has tremendous upper body strength form training, and form using crutches to move around. I think that Anthony's journey took a lot of physical strength, however to get up and wrestle on National television with just on leg against a reigning National Champion takes much more strength.

He recently beat Jason Lara in the finals. I think that that he possibly got the advantage of being an emotionally stronger person than his competitors. He had to go through more emotionally so he is a stronger person emotionally. I personally think that it would have taken more emotional strength than physical strength. I think it took more emotional strength because you had to have the confidence to keep going even when all of the odds were against you. Anthony Robles was a college wrestler born with one leg. He won the 125-pound title at the 2011 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships. Anthony defeated Matt McDonough in the finals. Anthony’s advantage over the other wrestlers was he tended to stay low on the mat, which made it almost impossible to take him down. Also he had very powerful upper body strength. Anthony Robles was a man who was born without a right leg.He competes in college wrestling. He recently won the NCAA 125 lb championship against Matt McDonough the number 2 seed and defending champion. He had a very strong upper body because of his missing leg. He is also able to keep his body very low to the ground, which makes him very difficult to take down, compared to someone who has two legs. However, it is his spirit and determination that seem to be even stronger than his physical strength. He is used to overcoming barriers due to his physical challenges. I believe this is why he was able to achieve such an impressive feat, given his physical disadvantage.

Anthony Robles is a college wrestler from Arizona State University who was born without his right leg. Competing against Jacob Lara he recently won the NCAA wrestling title in the 125 lb weight class. Unfortunately a disadvantage is that he is without a leg, which could be incredibly challenging especially in a sport that you spend most of your time on your knees in. An advantage of this is he's bigger than most people, but because he is without a leg, it takes off a lot of weigh putting him in a lower weight class. I think he must have had a lot of physical and mental strength because things that we take advantage of would become much harder. For instance pushups, I balance on two feet when I do them, but he most definitely does not, yet he was still able to break a pushup record at his school! Also I think emotionally it would be hard to live with only one leg and by doing so I think this has made him a better and stronger person.

Anthony Robles was a one- legged wrestler in the NCAA championships. He turned his disadvantage, only having one leg, into an advantage because of his crutches. He uses them to get everywhere, and so he’s developing great upper body strength. Also, because of his missing appendage, he weighs less. He recently became an NCAA champion by beating Matt McDonough. I think it took more emotional strength to do this, because he already had amazing upper body strength, and without his one leg, it has to by emotionally difficult to deal with everyday life, let alone an NCAA championship.

He was very athletic and didn't stop pushing to win. He is very strong inside and out.

Anthony Robles was born with only one leg and he just won the ncaa wresling for arizona state unversity.
in the match he defeted matt McDonough from Iowa state.
i think that it took more emotion t win because if he thouht he couldnt win because he only had one leg then he would just give up and not even try.
Antony Robles is a wrestler. But he was born without a leg. Docters wanted him to get a bionic leg but he refused. He was in 2 championships which he won 46-0.

1. Anthony Robles is a man who was born without his right leg he went to the NCAA Wrestling.
2. His achievement was that he won the tournament ( NCAA)
3. He defeated Matt McDonough .
4. He had a lot of upper body strength due to him being on crutches his whole life.
5. It probably took more mental strength to go up against a great opponent and not knowing if you were going to win or not. So it took a lot of courage, bravery and for him. To go up there.
6. I think it took more mental strength because it not easy. And he went up there and did what he does best. And that’s being a great wrestler.
