Typically when we write a story we write about something that has happened; naturally when doing this we use the past tenses. Write a five sentence story about a day in the life of a student 30 years from now. Try to imagine how schools and learning might change. Keep in mind that some things will remain the same; for example, 30 years ago students sat at desks. Students today sit at desks. It's entirely possible that students 30 years from now will sit at desks. Be creative, have fun, and write about how things WILL BE.

First, in the morning I ride to school in a mini space ship. When I get to school, I get all of the books that I need from my bubble locker, then I sit at my bean bag chair. It is hard to believe that 30 years ago, people had to sit at desks. But, 30 years ago they had classrooms and today we have classrooms, but they are much bigger for us! Thirty years from now, we will have new technology and electronics. Schools might have simulations that will help you learn and feel as if you were somewhere else. Humans might have developed robotic butlers with ther own security controls. For TV shows we could have androids instead of people, that way we do not need to pay actors. There will be no tests or homework, because a student will be strapped into a chair for the lesson, and when the learning is completed and achieved, the lesson will then be permanently implanted into the student's brain by means of a pill. There will be no books, pens or pencils, as all work will be completed using electronic means only. Three times a week, students will be beamed up from their homes to compete in the intergalatic games, which is what physical education will now be called.

Also in class there will be robots instead of teachers. If the students get hungry or thirsty in class they will clap two times and a robot will bring them what they want. And instead of having study hall, students will have the choose of taking a nap and leavindg school for an hour. I hope someday Cooperstown will be just like this school I expained.

The entire society will be “plugged in.” It is likely that there will be many technological advances and students will be sitting at computers doing work. Writing will most likely be fading like cursive is today. Learning will be of greater importance, especially in places that already cherish academics, like Japan. Today in school it was barely a half day because the thinking caps in ELA and Social Studies were broken so we skipped those classes. The Roast Duck and Key Lime pie pills were delicios. It was a breeze getting back home on the PAAV to play the new vertuial golf on the Xbox 3,000. The PAAV stands for Persnal Air and Aquatics Vehicle. Over all school was about one hour.
30 years from now, I think that students will sit at desk. But desk that fly and will feed you and have headphones so that we could lesson to music not to Mr. Abts.
The buses will be the same because
they always have been (boring). Next the lunch ladies will discover that the lunch is not good tasting and change it. The bathrooms should be not desalting and will be relapsed.

In 30 years from now the schools will be very different. For starters the school will have anti gravity desk that float. Also instead of taking notes we will put on these helmets that would send the knowledge to your brain. Then when it was lunch the lunch stools would float towards you and carry you to the lunch line. When you got to the cafeteria the trays would float towards you and all you have to do is say what you want and the anti gravity tray would get it. Finally when school was over you would get on your bus but the bus was different to it When you got to the cafateria the trays would float tourds you and all you have to do is say what you want and the anti gravity tray would get it. I would start out my day by going to school. Every class would be about ten minutes long because of the learning helmets. And then we would go to lunch. Today for lunch we will have ioskes and podfig. After the school day was over, i would fly back to my house on my hovercraft. When I get home, i will have my robot do my homework for me. After that, i would play on my xbox 3700 that is hooked up to my 120" floscreen TV.
I would start out my day by going to school. the classes are 5 minutes long beceause of the learning helmets. Then we would go to lunch. Today for lunch we will be having pidfirds with oogoo juice. After the that is over, i would fly home with my hovercraft.

"I can't imagine what going to school would be like in 30 years. Can you?" said Sarah
" The kids will be able to do whatever they want" Taylor answered. All of a sudden Sarah and Taylor started getting tired and they both fell asleep. Later they woke up in school but it was 30 years in the future.
"Wait, what happened?" Taylor asked
"I have no idea. I woke up and we were here" Sarah responded.
So after they tried to figure out what happened they began to walk around the school.The first classroom they saw had huge ipads for desks. After that they went to another and then another classroom. Later they got hungry. They went to find the cafeteria. Once they got there they didn't know what to do because all the kids were speaking a different language. So they both searched in there pockets to try to find some money. Together they had two dollars. The girls got at the end of the line and waited until it was their turn. Once they got to the front of the line they both got a bag of chips. As they went to pay, the lunch lady said that she didn't know what they were trying to pay with. The girls figured that money must have changed. So 2 seconds later they just sprinted into a closet and began to eat. As they were eating they began to feel tired and they fell asleep. When they woke up they were back home.

In 20 years from now there are going to be computers at the desks that we sit at. We will still sit at desks but there will be smart boards in everyroom. We will also have homework on the computer instead of writeing. There wont be pencils used in classes. These are the things that could be in a school in 20 years.
Thirty years from students will arrive at school, walk into there first class and plug into some sort of interactive headset. The headset wil teach them the subject to their level and change its teaching methods to fit each student. The technology would move at your pace and there would be less specific grade levels.You would move through the grades at your own speed. After about a half hour you would go to a different class so that you would move around. Classes will last about three hours, have an hour break to do work and socialize and repeat the same schedule for the next three hours. then you would be dismissed.Classes as a whole would be geared toward your individual interests so they would be more helpful to your later careers, and more interesting to you so you would be more likely to pay attention. In the future students in school for desks they would have a computer programed into it like an ipad touch screen like thing. Every subect in school will have a text book in the computer program. In the cafeteria the tables will be round and aranged in different ways every month. In 30 years I think that school will change but I think there will be lots of things that stay the same. In 30 years there will be lots of electronic devices and I think school will be on computers. Good morning today is October 28, 2041. I will pack my school supply which is my textbook iPad. Some days I go to school but today my teacher will be projected from my textbook iPad as a hollogram in the comfort of my own home. Today my teacher will not be from Cooperstown but instead I will have a world famous professor from Harvard. Sometimes my classmates are not just from Cooperstown but they can be from all over the world while my teacher's language is translated from his textbook iPad to the language of whoever is holding the iPad on the other side.
today, the year of 2041 a student named Polly walked to her front door. She stepped on a big round disk in front of the house door. a big bubble wand appeared and surrounded her in a bubble. She floated through the air passing her friends in there bubbles and waved. when she laded at the school (popping her bubble on the ground). She got onto a big square with all her friends and that flew to the school in the sky.
In the year 2041, a girl thought about her coming school days. She would pack-up her i-pad with all her school books in it. Then she would get driven to the school by her mother in their solar-powered car. She would then rush into school and sit in her desk. When she heard music playing that would signal the begining of the school day and she would pull out her i-pad and the school day would begin.

I think that in the future many new things will come up. Many new things that we have never thought about when we think of the future and somethings we have dreamed of. People have dreamed of flying for countless centuries but no one dreamed of the new IPHONE 4.But do you know how many times I see teenagers say OMG I left my cell cell phone at school let me get off the buss and get it!! Back in the 1800s the latest thing was putting a person's last breath in a jar!!! That sure puts the "Go green" trend in perspective. And since trends / technologies will change the future people look back at us a primitive cruel race, Can you believe that they watched people blow things up and kill each other on a thing called CBS.
And I don't think that computers or at least as we know them will be in the future. Can you believe that someone invented a non electronic computer in the late 1800s. So this is my story.

He saw thousands of levitating perfectly flat weightless platforms growing thousands engineered crops that looked like tomatoes growing out of the ground. The state is can support its population and still export a miracle even for china the second most powerful nation second to India. Oh no he forgot his VMD he'll have to go back and get it. When he finally arrives at school he uploads his test results and downloads his new .EDU program. He goes to one of the platforms and enters his commands to the growers or mini robots that tend the fields. Then he heads home and goes to bed WHAT A BIG DAY he thinks whal the .EDU program uploads his day's lessons.
30 years from now the school and classrooms will change there will be all touch screen tablets, that we type all our work on. The seats will be floating in the air by magnetization or something like that.The school will probably teach the same things but be more advanced and they will probably have no homework and just do it all in school. The lockers will have a touch screen on it so it will read your finger print and then open without us having to put a combination in.
