Click on the picture of Dr. King to see his famous speech about the dream he had for America. Think about what your ideal vision would be for the country. What segments of society would you most want to help?

I know this may sound a bit sappy but in my dream I would like the statge of the eath to be almost perfect. What I'm saying is that look at the earth now. Times are really tough for everyone around the world in polotics and golobal warming, and things will only be geting worse. So I would like all things to change for better.

My dream would a great, sucessfull life, but I don't need a lot of money to support a family. For my job I have no real preference.

My dream is for the world to come together as a "United Earth," similar to Gene Roddenberry's "Star Trek." He also envisioned a world where no money was used, and people did tasks for the betterment of humanity. I am probably sounding like a "Trekkie," as some people call people who like Star Trek a lot, so I guess I ought to stop talking about that. I also envision clean energy such as Nuclear (NOT NUKULAR!!! cough...Pres. Bush...cough) Fusion, which produces much less radiation for the energy you get out of it, unlike Nuclear Fission, which is when you split atoms apart (ask Mr. Holloway or Mrs. Fitch if you want to know more).

My dream for the country would be that all people thought of themselves as equals. I can't believe that people in our country still feel that all men are not created equal. These people really need to get their heads in the game and wake up because america is moving on. When Barack Obama was inaugurated today, I felt that MLK's dream had come true. To see all the people at the inauguration today made me think that people fully apreciate how far this country has come from African Americans not being able to drink from the same water fountains as whites to an African American President. MLK would be proud

I think that everything should run smoothly, cause a lot of things are going bad. For example, economy is bad, global warming is bad, and things are just getting worse. My dream is that Obama will help us through this time.
