Observing patterns can help us make predictions. What patterns in your day at school have you observed? What characteristics do your teachers have that make them predictable?

Well i don't really get what your trying to ask, but if your asking what i think your trying to ask... then yea.If a person is a people person, its more likely there going to chat at lunch. But if there more of a loner, they will most likely sit alone or with only a few people.I kinda get it.... kinda.
You are very right Mr. Abts. Here at St. Christophers the teachers are all still creatures of habit. Mrs. Anderson makes sure every student has done their homework before continuing teaching and the other teachers are often the same way. Your prep talk came a little late last year but is helping me this year. I'm still somewhat irresponsible and forget some things but i have definately improved from last year and am continuing to improve every day.
Miss your teaching, humor, and ability to appeal to dummies like me.
For the first question. I odserve the bells. They go off at specific times of the day. The way people wakl in the hall ways is another. If you haven't noticed they all walk on the right side of the hallways. The next question is that many teachers almost have laws. most teacher have the same "laws". For example. I made up The bill of teachers.I try my best not to brake it. The 1st sit in your seat properly. 2.to be respectful. 3. Is to try your hardest. 4.Is to not give up. and the 5th is to bring or do what is asked of you. If you fallow these "laws" you will become a great student. thank you, sarah heneghan
Hi Mr.abts so when we get to your class we have are agenda copy the asighments down and then get out our notebooks and be ready for class. My perdiction is that it will helps us get the nots down and get to our homework easier and faster and understand our homework and get it done.
Mr.Nelen would have us get out our agenda everyday when were here. My prediction is it will help us be more orginized The pattern I have every day is having lunch at 10:25. The prediction is that I get hungry at that time. By Sara Bowen
My day is pretty much the same everyday I get off the bus which is a pattern i deal with everyday. my schedule is the same and is a good one by the way.:) my school day has no spice and is boring with no fun or style.........by jordian
Many things in school have patterns. The reason that we have schedules is so that we can have a more predictable, easier day. When we enter a classroom, teachers may have us take out our agendas, homework, or notebooks. The patterns that we carry on add to the comfort of our day. Often, we have a set time to wake up, catch the bus, play sports, or go to bed. Once we get to know our teachers, we find traits in them that can make them somewhat more predictable. For example, when Mr. Abts starts repeating things with emphasis in class, we now have learned to start writing them down in our notebooks.
Having observed Mr. Henrici for several days, I predict that he will give out Latin homework in which you are required to copy down Latin words.Sky Gann
Well, every day my math teacher Mrs.Miller does the same process of checking homework, spiral review and notes. From this pattern I am able to predict that math this year will be a challenge and that homework will always be just as hard or harder than the day before Sophie miller
When we first get to school in math we know we have to take out our homework so Mrs. Miller can check it. We do a spiral review, go over notes and sometimes even start our homework. I know what to expect from math class every day. If I am late because of an appointment I would be able to figure out what I may have missed.
In English, we always take out our notebooks to take notes. When Mr. Abts says words loudly or many times we know that we should copy them down.
With health class we know immediately to be quiet when we get in the room. We know that we should not yell out or talk or else Mr. Weir will punish us.
When there are certain patterns or routines it is nice because you don't have to think about them and you know what to expect. After the first day of school I pretty much didn't have to use my schedule anymore because I memorized it. Its predictable.
With teachers, once you get a feel for them, you can understand what to expect from them, what to do and what to bring. The first quiz you don't know what to expect from a teacher, so sometimes you get a little more nervous. It may be hard or easy. After the first quiz you get a feel of what a teacher wants from you.
Honestly I think that school is one very big pattern. We go to classes we learn then we leave. Lunch is the only break we get from learning and writing notes tediously all day. Their are ome time in class where we get social breaks but very seldom. The pattern repeat every day for five days for week upon week. It is very predictably what we expect each day. We also learn from these patterns to like this teacher acts this way or we have tests on friday.
I have realized that after classes people tend to get into a pattern of when they are going to meet while they are walking down the halls. I have also noticed that right when the bell rings for lunch all of the 6th graders run down the halls to be first in line to the cafiteria, by the time I get halfway down the hall there are some kids who got stopped from running.
Hi, Mr. Abts! I wish you still were teaching at St. Chris! Carrington is right, the teachers pretty much all have the same routine to start class. It's kind of nice because you know what's coming when you get to each class.
Hey Mr. Abts! Here are is a pattern I have observed in school so far. In math, my prediction is that tomorrow we will check homework, maybe take a quiz, and then take notes for the rest of class and our homework will be to do problems in the textbook.(That's what we've done every day so far except when we had a test.)
-Fleet P.S. Michigan is looking pretty good so far this year. Virginia.... not so much. UVA is 0-3 so far. Also, don't you owe Andrew 50 pushups for that UVA and Michigan bet last year? If so, crank em out. I know you can do it.
My teachers all have patarns that make them prodecable . My science teacher allways gives us vocabulry tests on Frydays . In math we go over the homework from the night before and talk about a new topic then we hav homework on the topic that we talk about in class. I know that my helth teacher is loud and at some ponte I will jump. In history teacher gives us homework on Mundays and Thursdays. theas patarns all make my teachers prodecabal .
I observe that in your class we have a pattern that each day we start out with taking out our assiment note books and our notes. If thats even what your trying to say.I think that when we do that enough we wont have to think about.yea and im pretty sure that we dont have A.D.H.D. from kevin frevele
